GSM Alarm Support on Mobile Device

This master's thesis describes the mobile application that provides the support to control the GSM/GPS alarms. Based on the possibilities of modern security equipment and mobile devices, the application adds new functionality for these alarms. This work mainly describes selecting the appropriate mobile platform, application designs and the independence on the specific alarm. In conclusion, the results and possible extension of the application are talked over.
Information System for a School Including Automated Timetabling

This thesis devote itself to use of information system for school agenda administration. Schools are forced to administer big amounts of informations, not only referred to their students. Broad issue is very extensive and disparate, so the most common types of data and demands on school information system operation are stated. The system for automatic generation of timetables is part of the school information system. At the first, basic conceptions of scheduling scope are defined and tied together with them are methods and algorithms for timetable creation problem solving. School timetabling is problem of scheduling lessons with certain limitative conditions. Further, thesis is engaged in design of school information system, data organization in such system and solving of system design problems. Designed information system accentuates on easy expandability and wide range of usage possibilities. Also suggested algorithm for solving of defined school timetabling is stated in this part of thesis.
Web Service as an Interface for Google Calendar

The objective of this project was to create a web service that provides a connection to the web calendar named Google Calendar. This service should co-operate with an UDDI service registry. Another part of this project was creation of a client application that should communicate with the web service and the service registry. The client application should also serve as a demonstration application for presenting principles of web services and their communication.

The objective of this bachelor's thesis was to get acquainted with specifications of multimedia files and their attributes and study options that can be used for their management too. Further was necessary to focus on already done solutions of similar type from which it was able to inspire and draw on experience. The goal of this work was to design a functional multiplaform application on past experience that will allow effecitve management and browsing of these files and provide user enough of relevant informations. In the next step was application implemented and tested so it represents a fully functional result of the thesis.
Pocket Lectures: Android app for Off-Line Viewing of FIT Lectures

This thesis is concerned with the design, development and implementation of an application for the Android operating system. This application fulfills the function of downloading and offline playback of recordings of lectures. During the playback of the recordings, it is possible to search based on the entered text or on the basis of the selection of a specific slide discussed in the class. The application allows you to download the lectures in various quality, based on the user's selection.
Tools for Migration of GNOME's Settings

This work studies the way of saving configuration files in Unix-like operating systems, so the location and content system and also user configuration files. This work also studies the history of operating system Unix and GNU/Linux and describes aplication, that implements gained experience and makes possible to save configuration files and also restore from backup.
